Discipline, Crime, and Violence Report |
The
purpose of this memo is to provide information for final submission of data on
discipline, crime, and violence collected by public schools for the 2004-2005
year. Data will be submitted for
the 365-day period that began with the first day of the 2004-2005 school
year. Data submitted meets the
reporting requirements for the following:
The data may be submitted at any time as previously stated in SUPTS MEMO NO. 31, July 2, 2004; however, the final date for submitting 2004-2005 data is September 16, 2005. Requests for submission extensions should be minimal and based on exceptional circumstances.
Verification
reports for 2004-2005 will have a “new look” but will still contain the same
information. There will be a new section of the verification report that will
itemize incidents involving enrolled students that occur in local and regional
centers as well as incidents that occur in schools in another division than that
in which the student is enrolled.
